Millenia

of continual waves

and tidal flow

gently eroded

solid rock

again and again

crashing storms

winds blowing

imperceptibly exposed

the layers

opened

the cracks

Decades

of earnest seeking

trying to grow

slowly shaped

my soul’s contours

and laid it’s strata

now

releasing

and letting go

deeply reveals

my true heart
